  • Kindred Spirit

Here at Kindred Spirit Behavioral Health, our school-based counseling program is currently providing on-site therapeutic support in Edge Academy, Akros and AkroTech. Our licensed therapist and case managers work directly within these schools' environments to address behavioral, emotional, and social challenges that impact student success.

    Ohio Guidestone

Ohio Guidestone’s behavioral health professionals are trained to provide evidence-based prevention programs for schools. This includes substance use prevention through the Botvin's Life Skills curriculum for all grades, as well as violence prevention, suicide prevention, and social-emotional learning through the Sandy Hook Promise curriculums, that teach resiliency and skill building.

Ohio Guidestone’s treatment services include therapy and behavioral health support services for those students that need additional services beyond prevention or consultation. These services can include individual counseling and skill building sessions on-site at the school, crisis intervention services, and community-based services for students and their families offsite or virtually, as needed.
